Privacy Policy — Garant

Garant ("the app") is published by Hugo Software. This policy explains what data the app handles. The short version: your data never leaves your device.

Data we collect

None. Garant is a fully offline application:

• Product records you create (name, brand, category, purchase date, warranty duration, price, serial number, store, notes) are stored only in the app's local storage on your device.
• Photos of products and receipts are chosen from your gallery or camera and are stored only on your device. They are never uploaded anywhere.
• The app has no account system, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising SDKs and no tracking of any kind.
• The app makes no network requests with your personal data. Nothing is transmitted to us or to any third party.

Purchases

Garant offers a single optional one-time purchase ("Garant Pro") processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We never see or store your payment details. Google's handling of payment data is described in Google's own privacy policy.

Notifications

If you grant notification permission, the app schedules local reminders on your device before a warranty expires (30 days, 7 days, 1 day, last day). These are generated on-device; no notification data is sent to any server.

Backups

You can export your data as a JSON file to a location you choose, and re-import it later. The backup file is created locally and is under your control. Android's system backup may also include app data according to your device settings.

Data deletion

All app data lives on your device. Deleting the app (or clearing its storage in Android settings) permanently deletes all data. See also our data removal page.

Children

The app does not collect data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new effective date.
