Terms of Service — Garant

By downloading or using Garant ("the app"), published by Hugo Software, you agree to these terms.

What the app does

Garant lets you record purchased products and their warranty details, attach photos of receipts, and receive local reminders before warranties expire. The free version stores up to 7 items. Garant Pro, a one-time in-app purchase, unlocks unlimited items for the lifetime of the app on your Google account.

Purchases

Garant Pro is a one-time, non-consumable purchase processed by Google Play. It is not a subscription and does not renew. Refunds are handled according to Google Play's refund policy. You can restore the purchase on a new device with the same Google account using "Restore purchase" in the app.

Your data and responsibility

All records and photos are stored locally on your device. You are responsible for keeping backups (the app provides JSON export/import). Hugo Software is not responsible for data loss caused by device loss, damage, app removal, or clearing app storage.

No warranty advice

Garant is an organizational tool. Warranty periods, terms and claims are between you and the seller/manufacturer. The app's reminders and calculations are provided for convenience and may not reflect the actual legal warranty terms applicable to your purchase. Always verify dates against your original receipt.

Acceptable use

You may not reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the app except as permitted by law and Google Play's terms.

Liability

The app is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hugo Software is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, including missed warranty claims, arising from use of the app.

Changes

We may update these terms; the current version is always published at this address.
